Just bought this. Owned an older version way back when.

What are the best scenarios to start with?

I'd like to start out with the shorter ones - 8 to 20 turns...

Here's the order I went.

Aarncourt '44=small quick scenerio. Decent enough challenge but nothing too tough
Iwo Jima = Really short, really easy (too easy actually), but it introduces you to air support, naval support and amphibious landings
Korea '50-'51 = Extremely dynamic and multifaceted scenario. Can last 26-54 turns depending on if you invade North Korea or not.

Played Aarcourt (victory!) and Tannenberg (minor victory). Starting Soviet Union 1941... Great game!

Korea '50-'51!
You can enjoy almost anything.
You can find a opponent,PO is very weak and there is no strategy.

I can recommend by 1st tutorial, such as 48th Panzer Korps or State Farm 79 etc. :)

Just noticed they were kinda removed, but will put them into dropbox later on.

Korea '50-'51!

This was the original demo with Volume I (back when demos used to come on CDs on the front of a magazine). You could only play the first ten turns (which sort of sucks for the UN).

I played those ten turns about a dozen times. This was the game I'd been waiting for.

My experience with the PO is that in wider more open scenarios with maneuverability it is extremely easy to outsmart. It over commits forces and is really easy to distract. However in tighter battles with more defined "lines" the PO is still a challenge for me. I got my ass handed to me in the battle of the Marne scenario.
