Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

First, a preliminary: I'm new to the forums, and also somewhat new to the game, so if I'm missing something obvious then please be patient and point me in the right direction.

With that out of the way, I'll get on.

I'm trying to create a scenario based on my gaming group's defence of Bornholm aginst Russian aggressors and I'm loading HMS Ocean out with her air group. Part of her group is going to be Sea King AEW aircraft, but C:MANO doesn't have the AEW.7 version / loadout.

I believe I know which sensor is supposed to be deployed on the airframe (the "Thales Defence Searchwater 2000" and the "Cerberus Mission System" (which I have to find more out about)) but I can't find how I would add those systems to the aircraft now I've loaded them onto the ship.

I placed the Ocean. Went to "Editor > Edit Aircraft" and added 4 Sea King AEW.2As intending to upgrade them to AEW.7s.
Now I've done that, I can't find out how to add sensors to the aircraft.

Any help?

you can load them in flight (or launch) (INS), add sensor from the sensor window (F9) (remember that to edit sensor you must be in editor mode), "clone" them as many time as required (shift + c), change name if required (R), make them land to the desired place (You can rename them also from here) and the sensor will be there. i think "maybe" this is possible with lua, but not sure.
Another option is to try asking devs to add that unit (if, i say IF it's not already there as an export version or other options), maybe explaining why you need those and a little proves about them existence. They added a lot of unit i've requested as Elettra italian ship (actually an export version) and Lince, Centauro and Ariete armored units.
One thing you did good for sure, come here and ask. this is the right place.

... You can also save you OCEAN as an export unit so you could reload the pack all the times you want!

The 13 Royal Navy airborne early warning AEW.2 helicopters were upgraded to AEW.7 standard with the Thales Defence Searchwater 2000 radar and Cerberus mission system.

The helicopter's designation has been changed to airborne surveillance and area control (ASaC mk7)
