Status: offline 		It is unwise for non-belligerents to be in a country at war. I never appreciated it, and was happy to speed you on your way. If you wanted to be in China you should have allowed your troops to volunteer in the Chinese forces, in Chinese uniforms. I consider the exploit to be the British units in China. :)

I tend to run all my supply into my Supreme HQ (whatever that is called) its distributed to all sub HQ"s automatically from there, with no transport requirement for the Supreme HQ. Some supply is required to be transferred manually for that there is a requirement for transport assets rail road or sea. I guess if the Chinese are cut of from there supply sources by advancing Japanese then the British if they had the transport capability could transfer supply directly into Chinese HQ's something I am doing as the Germans in game 15 as the Italians are struggling with a lack of supply. those pesky French Artillery.

Regards non belligerents in a war zones I tend to agree, if you are in a hot zone then be prepared to take casualties, if you don't wish to take losses then stay out of the line of fire.
I think you did comment yourself about placing US troops in France or the UK in game 14 stating that you were not some form of the United Nations keeping warring nations apart.

Let it be known that:

After the difficult situation in Finland, the supreme soviet decided to support the successful coup that took over the government of the Scandinavian country. There will finally be a just and egalitarian regime by the people, for the people.

A border incident in Afghanistan has forced the Red Army to take police action, Italy and Germany have been unfortunately dragged into the conflict. A peace missive has been sent to Berlin with the deepest regards, the supreme soviet has no interest in war with Germany.

The Soviet Union is undergoing deep modernization changes and has no interest in conflict with either the Allies or the Axis. Friendly relations with Emperor Hiro Hito attest to that.

End of radio transmission.

Probably quite true Ironduke but in Juergen's defense, I believe he was trying to assist me a little because he knew this scenario was a first for me. However what he didn't count on was the Chinese having an intellectually challenged supreme Commander....lol

To be honest in the early days of the war the British are not the best power to check Japan, they have a serious threat in Europe and most of their resources should be pushed in that direction. The Soviet Union is your best bet they have the men and the technology to make life very difficult for the Japanese. As you will see in game 16 where I have attacked Japan with the Soviets.

Belgium enters the war on the Allied side only to by overrun by the Wehrmacht.

Germany and Italy again find themselves at War with the Soviet Union, due to the Soviet Invasion of the pro Italian Afghanistan, peace was once again hastily reestablished.

The Italians continue to besiege Tunis and capture the Island of Corsica.

Events in the Far East only conspire to make life for Germany's and Italy's enemies more difficult. A state of affairs the Axis cannot but be pleased about.

The Japanese are now at war with the British and French. We did not expect this and would be in big trouble
if not for the distractions our enemies have in Europe. We attacked into French Indo-China and took Hanoi
and we fought a big naval battle off the port of Saigon. We attacked into Burma a bit also.

Our troops are still moving into new positions after the surrender of China. We certainly are not in an
optimal situation for waging a major war. We are a bit like a shark and keep moving because we do not know
the consequences of stopping.

While we are delighted with our peaceful relations with the Soviet Union we still have garrison troops to
maintain in the eastern part of China, and in the north. No nation wants any surprises!

The panzers begin to roll in Northern France Lille falls

Norway is the next target in the battle for control of the North Sea, Successful landing were made along the entire Norwegian coast.

Italy build there strength and continue the siege of Tunis.

Status: offline 		The Japanese push into Burma, and also take Saigon. These two resources relieve the oil situation.

At sea the IJN had remarkable success against the submarine screen the western powers put in place.

The three panzer armies launched attacks on Paris and le Havre capturing both cities.

The Italians Captured Marsielle and Tunis.

The last Polish city fell, Oslo still survives though the Kriegsmarine spent time preparing for a assault rather than actually assaulting the city.

Status: offline 		Japan attacked to the border of India, and we expect to attack into the subcontinent next turn.

We fought the British and French at sea, and have a recon map to show just what a significant presence the Royal
and French navies have near Singapore. The Fleets have names like "Mediterranean Fleet" and "Home cruiser force"
which suggests the West has pulled forces here from Europe.

The Wehrmacht fight their way to the Atlantic, l'Orient falls Brest and Bordeaux are still in French hands.

Yugoslavia joins the Axis, much needed manpower put to immediate use.

Oslo falls Norway is now completely Axis controlled.

Italy after the capture of Tunis moves on to Algiers commencing the siege of the city.

their turn.

Japan pushes into India with experienced troops.

The Germans consolidated their hold on the French West coast capturing Brest and Bordeaux.

The Italians captured Algiers attempting to gain that elusive empire.

Status: offline 		Japan pushed farther into India. When she tried an amphibious assault on Lae in New Guinea she lost a fine division. Some things work, some don't.

The Royal Navy suffered an air attack by land based air forces. The force of two BB3, eight DD2 and eight DD1 was sunk. The surface force without air cover is in dangerous waters.

Our carrier aircraft raided Brunei but caused almost no damage. The experience we gained in defeating the Chinese makes our land forces formidable, but we are still a work in progress in the other arms. We have an active enemy in the Franco-British forces, and must guard against any other powers entering the lists.

The enemy is being pushed back, but he has a lot of space to trade. We took some ground, but are trying to make sure
we have garrisons and reserves.

We did another, stronger, carrier strike on Brunei with better results. We did not see any Royal Navy ships this month
but we know they are out there as our shipping is affected.

We have not seen any diplomatic activity, but the United States is working on abandoning isolation. We have enjoyed
peaceful relations with the Soviet Union and hope this continues.

Here is a map of the frontlines in India.

Status: offline 		Italy manages to take Malta making the transfer of supplies and armaments to North Africa slightly easier. The Italians shell Casablanca Humphrey Boggart is not amused.

Status: offline 		A rather quiet turn for the Japanese Forces. We did take Rangoon, and Siam came in with us. This changes things for campaigning against Singapore as now an all land campaign is a real possibility.

We attacked in India but took no cities, and did not cause any significant losses. We do not feel we are stalled. This is a big country and it will take time to subdue her.

The founding of the Supreme Soviet Presidium of Turkey was completed without a hitch. We welcome our new turkish brothers in our effort to found a new world based on equality and just distribution of wealth.

In other news, modernization efforts are advancing faster than expected, infrastructure projects are budding in the motherland, sign of a healthy outlook.

Status: offline 		The Imperial Japanese Army advanced on a broad front in India, and the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the Royal Navy
all around Singapore. We took losses, but the enemy took more. There is a tank factory in India, which means the defense
will be tougher from here on.

Here is a map of the areas controlled by each side in India.

British probes from Egypt towards Libya are caught in the open desert by the Italian airforce. Casablanca continues to be shelled. A force of British Cruisers and destroyers harassing Italian forces near Casablanca are caught by the Italian Airforce.

Military activity on the continent has stopped for the time being.

Status: offline 		Japan finds the British are a good bit tougher as they get pushed west and south in India. We met Valentine II at the Indian tank factory. We need to eliminate this factory.

The Americans have become much more assertive, and have cut off our access to their oil.

Status: offline 		The USSR has been monitoring suspicious movement in the border with Lithuania. Unusual military buildup next to Vilnius is cause of concern.

The 4th, 5th, 6th armies and other battalions have been mobilized to counter a possible threat. The motherland is sacred.

Status: offline 		Japan is pressing hard in India, and hopes to reduce the defenders who are left there. There is the potential for a
great naval battle as both navies have significant forces in the East Indies. Our armies took all of Malaya. We suffered
another setback in amphibious operations when a second SNLF division was destroyed attempting to take Medan. We are
overconfident in these attacks and will have to learn.

Status: offline 		The unfounded German accusations of Soviet spy planes are without grounds.

The Soviet border guards can SEE the movements, and hear the rumble of armored divisions at the other side of the border. There is no need for planes. This is a blatant invasion plan. The USSR will not stand by arms crossed and wait for the Fascists to organize an invasion. If this continues the USSR will be forced to take drastic measures.

A preemptive strike is not out of the question. Army reserves have been called to active duty, the red army is now on high alert.

There is still time for a diplomatic solution. The supreme soviet presidium hopes that the Germans can be reasonable.

Status: offline 		The German Rumanian Hungarian and Yugoslavian forces crossed the Soviet Border in a ideological war that has been a long time coming, it is a sacred duty to rid the world of the oppression of communism. A breakthrough was achieved at Kiev with the 11th Panzer Army pouring through the gap created by the guns of 1st Infantry army and panzer reserve guns from the 7th and 4th Panzer Armies

Status: offline 		Japan captured the British/Indian tank factory, and the city of Madras and south India.

The Imperial Japanese Navy lost 3DD2.

The Royal Navy lost 11DD1, 19DD2, 2CSM, 2CSL, 7SS1, 2BB2, 1BB3, 2CL1, 1CA1, and 1BC1. Some cargo ships had troops aboard.

The Royal Navy's presence in Eastern waters must be strained.

Status: offline 		The 11th panzer army races to the Don with 7th and 4th involved in encirclements to the 1st and 2nd Soviet fronts around Minsk and the closing encirclement of the 3rd and 4th Fronts to the South Kharkov and Odessa are captured.

Status: offline 		The political faction of the Japanese Army looks at these maps of Panzer columns streaking across the Russian plains and wants so badly to get in this war. The Navy faction not so much. The Emperor holds his own counsel.

The last positions in British India are crumbling. Japan has landed on New Guinea, and captured Lae. We also took Medan finally. Our aircraft are active as are bombardment task forces.

The Navy position is that the Americans are working hard to enter this war, and we will be under pressure from a powerful nation. The war in the Soviet Union will not go well with an active, aggressive USN.
