This mod for the vanilla DWU is intended for people that like to role play as a machine race (or against them).

The mechanoids are now playable, able to expand, but with a very low reproductive rate.

I've added 3 new machine races:

1. Robotech
A peacefull race of former robotic servants that are able to mass produce themselves on assembly lines.
Artwork used is from the I robot movie.

2. Killerdroid
Like their name suggests these robots are programmed to exterminate all biological intelligence, they are hated by all race families except their own.
+50% population growth bonus on colonies that are exterminating an alien population.
Default colony population policy for all races except machines is exterminate.

When controlled by the AI the killerdroids will commit genocide at any nearby location as soon as possible, the population won't get below 9m until a passenger ship arrives though.
When controlled by a player it is perhaps more wise to delay extermination for a passenger ship carrying killerdroid immigrants so that they can profit from the period it takes to exterminate the population.

3. The Aurorans
A race of intelligent robots that were designed to live on planets with an extreme climate.
They are native to ice planets, but should prioritise both ice and vulcano planets.

I've also edited the racefamilybiases to make machine races like eachother.

Installation:
unzip and copy to your customization folder.
Start the game and in the main menu click switch theme, then choose machinemod and click switch theme.
In order to get the new races you need to set up a custom game/don't use the scenario.

This mod is still under development and needs some finetuning, though it is already playable.

To do list:
-lots of finetuning
-choose shipsets for the new races (open to suggestions)

-initial release candidate
Version 1.1
-edited mechanoids to make them less overpowered.
-added a race policy file for killerdroids, they now have exterminate as default other race family policy.
-fixed and edited some more diplomatic messages.
Version 1.2
-3rd race the aurorans implemented.
-increased robotech reproduction to 33
