Hello mates, I was just inspecting my lbm files spwaw installation and I discovered that:

Question3 : Just in case this is a problem for everybody then next question would be: do Matrix have them safe ? could then be zipped and linked somewhere ?

Any help or comment here would be very appreciated !!
Thx

Ruxius,
I posted a thread discussing this about a year ago. I remember that Chief and Gmenfan replied, but we never discovered why some of the LBM files in the PIC folder looked like this:
Since none of the pictures in the encyclopedia appear that way, I assumed those 'corrupted' files were not being used by the game.

I do recall that some were surprised that I had a viewer that displayed LBM files...when I told them it was Irfanview they tried it, but could not get the LBM files to open. I figured out that the current version of Irfanview (at that time) would not work, but the old version I was using (3.07) opened LBM files without any problems.

That indicates they were copied and saved under a different name. I had to deal with this in converting to LBM for Lost Victories Only the original file will work, not a copy with a different name.
