During an Allied turn, the British flew a port attack from a carrier in Western Med. The game hung trying to get me to do something, anything with the carriers in the Bay of Biscay as if their planes had to return to base. I eventually grabbed them and flew them as port attack over Bordeaux out of frustration even though it was the port attack return to base digression.

The game hung again for a while and I walked away thinking I'd have to reload. But when I cam back, the game was ready for the next phase. I plodded on unaware that now the carriers were docked alongside some German U-boats and the Italian corps.

The British ships could not be moved or resupplied with oil, the German Uboat can only reach the 0 box, and the Italians can move out and step back in and overrun the British mutineers.

Edit: Vanilla game, no pilots, no carrier planes.
