I was wondering if this was working ok and I made a simple and quick test, which brought me a strange results. Please take a look. I created a new scenarion, inserted 3 units=S61Delfin Submarine along north/south axis. Then I selected topmost and selected CREEP (3knots) SHALLOW Then the middle and I inputed 4 knots manually again SHALLOW Finally the south one I selected CRUISE (5 knots) and SHALLOW I ploted a course bearing 90 (east) for all. With the simulation STOPED I checked the ENDURANCE field bellow UNIT FUEL For CREEP it gave me 250nm OR 3 days and 11 hours For CRUISE it gave me 104nm OR 20:48 AND for the manually inputed 4knots it gave me 83nm and 20:48 (yes it is strange, yes I double checked AND double simulated) So how could I end up with LESS distance traveled and same time endurance with diferent speed sets (4knots and 5 knots) This is not only with subs, airplanes also fail to better calculate this fuel endurance and consume too. I made a coarse calculations just taking in consideration average numbers, 4 knots should have made 42 hours OR 155nm, but even if performace is not linear, I guess performace for 4 knots is not LESS then for 5 knots. Right? I also made tests with FLANK SPEED (15knots) 14 and 13 and they all gave me the same time endurance, but about 1nm LESS and 2nm LESS respectivelly. I guess this is not su much a problem with aircrafts but with some slow vessels like subs, this is a problem and for such a great simulator, this bug is a shame, I mean it is soo precise in soo many aspects and this one is off. Anyway I respect a lot the work of the CMANO Staff, I just would like that you take a look in this. Thanks
