I decided to try and defend Sicily with substantial East Front divisions...... destroyed incoming divisions (at least the reports indicate this) but once they are all thrown back to sea another invasion on the next turn usually by some of the same divisions.... this happens repeatedly... I have destroyed 2nd US Armor at least three times.... so what is going on.....

it doesn't sound right, which could a be reporting issue. Do you have a repeatable save?

Not sure what repeatable save means? Just playing against AI......they just launched their 4th Sicily invasion on Turn 32 Feb 5 1944....Essentially every time I eliminated all Allied forces from Sicily they would invade on the next turn which of course happens at different times....

As an example US 2nd AD & US 45 ID destroyed on Turn 8, Both again on Turn 27, 2nd US AD again on Turn 31, and 2nd US AD again is part of the new invasion force for Turn 32....

Others units also show up repeatably and perhaps too fast since they were KIA.....

That would be a save where we could see the oddity.
