Don´t worry about the P51s. With your HR your Franks will eat them alive. Only thing you have to worry about is the P47s.

You are right.
But P-51D is forcing me to sprred my forces. Ealier i neded only 50-80 planes in base and B-29 have no chance. But now if he concentrate 200 P-51D on single base i will no be able to hold bombers from crashing oil wells

Docup will pay for that with loses but he will replace them and i will not rebuild those wells.

Yeah, but you are so late in the game now that loosing the oil is to be expected. Don´t break your back trying to protect the oil. Your only objective at this time should be to keep him out of B29 range of the HI.

HI is rather safe. B-29(but not P-51) can reach some big cities from China but long campaign is rather impassible from there (supplies). Just in case i keeping some squadrons on CAP in those places

I still have Palembang out of range of his fighters so i gaining 11k of fuel every day. And i plan to keep that way for another month or more.

Ambon
No attack today. Not from air, sea or ground
That is good news. I manage to transfer some supplies there and tomorrow i will return with CAP.
APD TF with 6000 supplies is in range of Ambon and Numlea. Tomorrow i will unload supplies. BB and CA TFs will cower unloading of supplies. 300 fighters will CAP on morning.

Burma
First two ID retreat from Chiang Mai area and by rail will move SE. They need some rest. Morale below 90.

In your particular game koniu I think it's wise to fight to keep oil flowing, but not to lose the Kuriles!! You can even afford a Marianas invasion now, as it'll take a while to get each and build them up, get set up to send the B-29s. Plus it's a sporadic slow bombing process from there.

Him getting anything closer would be a big problem. The PI, the Kuriles, close-in China or Korea.

When he gets anything on Western Borneo then you have to get ready to close it down, but now send all tankers you can to pull that stuff back to the HI. You might even dump it in Hong Kong or Takao to make the trips shorter if you're not already.

I agree with the Kuriles and other stuff.

Pomping fuel is not a problem i am able to keep Palambang and other places almost empty all the time. I never have there more that week fuel production. Usual thing for mew is waiting with tankers because there is no fuel to load

As for Docup capturing refineries and oil fields. I am planing to try to destroy them as soon i he capture them. Somehow it can slow his advance because he will not get those extra supplies and fuel from them

Yeah, Erik makes a very good point. Docup is running out of time so he have to pull a "hail Mary" soon. Kuriles or the Philippines...If I were him I would go for the Philippines. If he got his prepping done right he could be there quite quickly...

I think it will depend how current offensives in Ambon and north coast of New Guinea will go.
I believe that if i mange to slow down him there he will lose patience and he can change axis of advance and land in Kuriles.

But at this point i believe Docup want to advance in Ambon/Hollandia/Biak and from there north toward Mindanao and from there Luzon

We back to game. Current date 10 November.
Dont have data to make proper report (I am at work. But most important thing to report is Ambon.

Docup made two deliberate attacks.

First with tanks only. I lost 400 men and 21 squads disabled but in return over 50 tanks disabled.
Second attack was with all his troops. Japan lost 400 men and 40 disabled squads. Allied loses are 2000 killed, 300 squads disabled and over 200 guns and vehicles disabled. Dont know why docup is attacking with IDs split in 3. They land as one unit

I airlifted to Ambon fresh regiment. Last allied bombardment showing that he have 1200(1550 on day 1) active AV against 650 on Japanese side(600 on day 1). Forts reduced to 4. Even if allies capture Ambon those two Australian IDs(one of best allies have) he have there will not be able to fight for some time

Thailand

Sorry foe bad map quality

As You can see will need to abandon Rahaeng area soon.

In Rahaeng and west of it I have ~800AVa but Docup after month of marching trough jungle finally enter base and road hex. I should hold there enough(~week) i hope for more to allow troop NE of Rahaeng cross river
I have ID in Moulmein but i not sure what to do with them. Retreat to Rahaeng when they still can or sacrifice them to block only road between Thailand and Burma. It can buy some precious days by that.

NW of Bangkok i have 1200AV blocking Tavoy but they probably need to be evacuated to Bangkok soon. They only allowing me to keep Bangkok open for some time.

In Victoria Point i prepping defense line. 2xID plus tanks will be sacrificed to slow down allied advance towards Singer.

Everything from Bangkok and Rahaeng are will be evacuated toward Saigon by rail(i hope) and from there move to new defensive line on East.
I already evacuated toward Saigon 4xID and Tank Div

Any advice is appreciated. Especially about Moulmein and where build new defense line

30 Navy 2E bombers disobey range settings and go against shipping in Port Blair. 27 lost.
What is strange i find only small 70 plane CAP mostly build on P-40 and similar generation planes.
CAP like that will be my potential target when Ki-83 arrive in 11 days.

Docup unloading supplies and probably some arty units in Ambon.
His transports ships are still in Ambon hex and for sure they are still unloading as i see during LCU bombardment partially unloaded arty unit.
I have undetected 2xKongo TF and 2xCA TF in range. I will try to intercept them during night.

DA in Penope. Marines crash my boys. I hold base but AV reduced to 20 points. Forts reduced to 4. Base will fall tomorrow.

I would garrison the base north east of Chumphon. Yes, he can land at Victoria Point and move on Chumphon, but you would have time to evacuate from that base if that happened. You are buying time, make him spend a couple of days there.

Defense pint will be Chumphon. A already massing troops there and forts are building fast. betwwen him and Chumphon he will have to cros 2 hexes wthout road. That shoul allow me to if needed to reinforce ths area even more.

I hope so. I have dream that last KB action will be massive battle against allied death star.

PS. I made decision - with 30 November i will close J2M5 production. Only successor will be A7M2. From that day Navy will build only N1K2 and A7M2.
I hope to have J7W1 in late spring 1945 (it will be fastest Japanese fighter of war)
I have ~500 J2M5 is service and 600 in pool.

From next week K-83 will be produced i plan to upgrade only 3-4 grops to it. 200 Sentai(97planes) and 2 or 3 (49planes) groups.
Ki-83 will be last researched army plane.

So until last day of war Japanese air force will use K-44c(SR1, escort, CAP), Ki-84r(escort,CAP), Ki-83(sweeper), N1K2(escort), A7M2(KB,CAP) and J7W1(CAP) and that all. No jets

Burma
I decided to abandon Moulmein. Last units will move out from base in 48h

Ambon
I manage to successfully unload 5k of supplies

I see BB? or CA? TF paroling in Gorong base hex. I will check CAP there. If not extremely strong it can be good target for KB in near future

24 November 1944

Ambon
CV battle suspected tomorrow.

I move KB toward Manado last turn. I was planing to intercept that heavy SAG in Gorong hex.
Was not expecting what show up today

Entire enemy fleet show up between Lautem-Damar-Babar
I am sure at lest one CVL and two Iowa class BB. Reckon show two AC groups total of 350 fighters and 300 bombers. At least two SAGs and other two look like transport TFs.

I need to rethink how play that. I dont have enough SAGs to protect bases i have in area and KB so i will focus on KB probably.
LBa will be set but i am suspecting that bases will be closed tomorrow by naval bombardment

Only TF Docup have DL is in Kendari

I lost today 70 bombers against CAP over enemy fleet.
This time Docup bring best he have but numbers are small i will say

CAP over enemy AC TF
F4U-1A Corsair x 3
F4U-1D Corsair x 52
F6F-5 Hellcat x 103

Turn send. I hate that moment when nothing can be done, only waiting.

I have second thoughts about sending KB in middle of Banda Sea. I start to believe that 600 CV planes i see there is not all Docup have there. What i afraid is that it can be trap and i will end fighting even 2000+ enemy CV planes plus LBA or Docup use CV groups and it is attempt to force KB to react there and he will land somewhere else. Of course it can be just simple attempt to land reinforcements to Ambon or he protecting his SAGs trying to intercept IJN BB but i will not know until next turn.
