First off, kudos to SP:WAW. I remember the winter before last when I first heard about this great game, and my wife is still P.O'ed about that time she couldn't use the phone for 32 hrs while I downloaded v.1. Well, it has been a while since I played the game, since the message board moved anyway, and I am looking forward to v.5. However, I have a slightly off-topic question for the Mega-Campaign people. On The Combat Mission (by Big Time Software) message board, there was a message left by someone who believed that mega-campaigns were being considered for wargames other than SP:WAW, namely Combat Mission. Is this true? Could it be possible? As it is, I think between CM and SP I have all my bases covered, and a mega-campaign for CM would really put me over the top! Any info would be helpful. Thanks! Panzer Leader

Hello... The Mega Campaign compiler does not assume a specific game system. Campaigns can be made for any war game or role playing game. They work best, in their current iteration, with tactical war games.

When I was at Novastar, we made campaigns for a couple games. Here at Matrix, we chose to start off with Steel Panthers: World at War. We may add some to Combat Leader. How many we create and to how many games we expand the campaigns depends simply on how many we sell. That is why we chose to write the first one for SPWaW. We have a goodly sized part of the Steel Panthers community here. We figure if we can sell an adequate number for that game system, we might go for other games. If our sales disappoint, we probably won't waste our time doing campaigns for other games. Michael Wood Mega Campaign Designer/Programmer
