1. In the turn summary after the firefights, sometimes it says a unit could not attack due to B.O. attack restrictions.

What does B.O. mean, please? I'm pretty sure it's not body odor. :)

2. Different topic - but I didn't feel a new thread was necessary for a simple question - some units have a bright pink circle on their unit icon. What does this mean, please?

Thank you!

I believe "B.O. restrictions" means "Brigade Order restrictions;" units will fire or not depending on what order their parent brigade has.

The pink circle, I think, if you mean around the actual unit sprite on the map, indicates a failure to activate on the last turn...

Thank you, Ricomise. The pink circle I mean is just a small circle next to the unit icon. It does not completely encircle the unit graphic. It's just a pink dot.

I think the dot you are referring to shows what brigade the unit is in attached to. If you are playing the tutorial I think the pink dot is the divisional commander, and the other units have pink surrounded by a different coloured rectangle that shows their brigade. If you look at the unit roster / oob that you can open by clicking on the left hand side of the screen, the colours on there correlate with the ones you see next to your units.

I think ross has this right. The colored circles/squares correspond to the echelon colors that show up in the on-screen OOB.

are these the circles/squares you mean? Circles are for leader units and squares for the other units.

Yes, thank you guys. That is what I was referring to. I did not realize that circles meant leaders and rectangles were regular units.

The pink dot looked strange.

Separate question - Rick, how did you attach your screenshot? I had to upload mine to imgur, and grab the URL and post it in my response. It looks like yours is attached differently, because it has a Matrix Games URL, and there is an Attachment link underneath it. Just curious if there is a way to attach images to our postings directly from this forum.

Thanks!

like elmos says.

Also, your commander only has the one color because he is a Division leader, the leader I used in my screenshot was a brigade leader so it shows the brigade color circle inside the division color circle.

There is a lot going on in this game.

Enjoy!
Rick
