And you know what Peter? I think that's where I got my inspiration. I probably read that after my scary game that played out back in 2002 or so. And also to add to what AllenK wrote: Assuming a player decided on an all out Fall Weiss (Poland), and assuming a long enough N/D and J/F to rail and rebase everything worthwhile west, and assuming fair or rain in M/A the first two impulses for Germany, and assuming decent attack die rolls, and the use of an o-chit...yes, the Axis would be in the position they are if this was the 2nd Axis impulse in your AAR (I think its currently the first impulse). And as I recall there were a couple of missed opportunities (impulses)...one was a fair weather impulse when the Polish INF ventured into Germany, which I would not have eliminated...only moved a blocker over to it.
