Looks like she was used for racing a long time ago. Gonna require some work but looks like a bargain.

The further pictures just show it is still in its civilian scheme from the 60s. It looks like Ken Scholz bought it in 1973 and never flew it. He died in 2011 and his widow died in 2014.

This is a valuable airframe in the restoration community. It's rare for a restoration project in such good condition comes on the market. Though Mustangs are common compared to most other warbirds, it should still fetch more than $1 mil I would expect.
