I have never used the air staff assistance before so it took me awhile to recognize why my air units kept wanting to make diect attacks that I did not order.

What really shocked me is that this option will select itself even in games where I have previously turned it off. I'm not sure but it seems like I had at
least on turn where it turned itself on several rounds into a turn.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? When this suddenly pops up on latter rounds it can be overlooked and lead to some really stupid air attacks.
Even if you notice it you still have to cycle through all of your air units to make sure you turn off any unintended attacks.

yes - I have experienced it - I think perhaps it remembers its last setting for any game....so if yuo had it on last time you closed a game it will be on next time you open any game - I think it doesn't have to be the same scenario.

Thanks! Not that big a problem really I have already learned that I just have to check it at the start of every turn.
Not sure how it got turned on originally.

I have been checking previous turns of a PBEM game and getting screen shot
