IS this correct? The map does not seem to scroll by drag'ing the mouse pointer. The minimap works and even the arrow keys but not the mouse drag? Turned scroll delay to 0, 2, 5 no change.

4.2 THE MAP
War in the Pacific, Admiral’s Edition™’s map is divided into hexagons (hexes), at a scale of
40 nautical miles per hex. The full map area is 230 hexes wide by 204 hexes high, although the
outermost part of this area is reserved for the location of “off map” areas which are separate
from the main map area.To scroll around the map, drag the mouse pointer in any direction and
the Tactical Map will shift with it. Or, click anywhere

Move the mouse pointer to the right edge of the screen and the map will move east. Do NOT click on the mouse. Ditto any other direction.

If running in Win8 map scroll can be extremely slow. Adding -deepColor command line switch can get back to normal.

Click-and-Drag doesn't work. Gotta move the cursor to the edge of the screen.

OK guys thanks for the tips I think I'm doing something that's not too common and it's causing me issue. I'm running 3 monitors in 3072x768 mode. In the image below it's tiny but I think you can see that as an example on the coral sea map the yellow box which represent my view is 3 times the length of that of the red box. So we I screen or use the arrows it moves left or right 3 times then up one then left or right 3 more times and up one. It not normal movement. Often when clicking the map just goes haywire and starts moving on it's own. I'd like to turn off movement if possible and only using clicking, is that possible so the map will stop moving around?

Let me ask the question a different way, is there a way to turn off edge scroll? I know you can set a delay but when I move the mouse to the edge of the screen I don't want the map to scroll on me, can that be disabled?

Chemkid your second id seems to work, expand the play area. I've tried this both in full screen and window mode and other than lowering the resolution I could not get it resolved, but using the editor did help. Thanks
