The BB has become quiet all of a sudden. The lull in the storm before 3.6 is released? Are people in the know just putting off starting a new game until the release or have all us old timers died off? Just took my blood pressure (127/69) so I am still alive.

No doubt many more are busy playing than find a reason to come here. I'm currently enjoying gaming Fall Grun 1938 as the Wermacht.

Wow. And by name too. I'm flattered. And slightly embarrassed. Have I been hogging the forum?

Sorry guys, the last 9 months or so have been non-stop TOAW games and playtesting and I was getting burned out so I started
an Anti-AI game of WiTP-AE. I'm on turn 14 already ( 20Dec41) and I'm getting my butt kicked by the Japs so far. After the Pearl
Strike that took out several of my best ships I've been kinda subdued in my aggressive-ness. Especially after I drove my carriers
to the NW from Pearl to look for stragglers and got ambushed by the full-strength KB who hadn't fully evacuated the area yet. I
lost the Enterprise and the Lexington. And several smaller boats. D'oh. But I've still got the CV Yorktown and I have it pushing
toward Tarawa to try to catch any more adventurism. The Japs have landed on Leyte and Legaspi and they are advancing
toward Manila. Plus they drove SW from Bangkok and are pushing my troops southward toward Singapore. The Japs have
positioned what appears to be a CVE into the Tarakan / Balikpapan area and are sinking all the ships fleeing south from Manila.

I've been playing day and night and I'm not even taking the time to do an AAR because I'd rather get further into this exciting game.

On the TOAW front: I've volunteered to be on the new scenario panel, the one that will chose the better scenarios for the next
official release. Whenever that is. I've got my fingers crossed.

Not that quiet... I done play-testing for Hawkyeye's updated France '14 and now involved in D21 from Steve, me being in charge of the whole air-forces and the RHG. There are 4 players involved, kinda like a RPG of a grand scale. We started on the 22nd June (for real) and the AAR is here:

It's in German, but G00gle can translate it quite nicely.

Google translate gave this: Where do you find the Prague ? A city or a country is wanted!

Not quite clear enough to decipher.

Well Bob... a 'Pranger' is basically a pillory :)

Despite the sense (or lack of?!) humour, me and the lads try to keep the readers informed about this epic attempt of playing D21 with 4 different human commanders vs. Elmer.

Sounds like me. I thought about cutting the lawn so I sat down until it passed.
