Greetings,

My hard drive on my old XP computer has crashed and I have lost everything. It was impossible to recover it.

Since the computer was so old, I have invested in a new Windows 8.1 64 bits computer for gaming. But, now going back on the TOAW III viewer and equipment editor links, I see no mention of Windows 8.1 compatibility.

Anyone is using them on Windows 8.1 64 bits? Please tell me they are working fine…

Thank you

tbh there isn't many games that won't work on windows 8.1 or windows 10 beta for that matter, load and see approach, then if it gives any errors, just load in compatibility mode for windows xp sp3 and run as admin and as long as you have all the right drivers and other stuff it needs (re distributable's), it will or should work fine

Yes, I can tell from experience it works without any problem. No need for compatibility mode.

Hello,

I have trouble to start game after what seems to be normal installation of TOAW 3 with latest patch 3419
PC specifications: intel core i7 / 2x geforce 970 / windows 7 ultimate SP1 / 64bits / enough HD, RAM memo, drivers etc.

Game can be activated from start menu or directly via opart3.exe but I just get black window (titled as it should be and so one) without any activity, music, buttons ... black, running in backround but without options to procede to main screen and beyond.

I tried all compatibility modes with no results. Any sugestions ?

Thank you
