One feature I’m kind of missing when playing campaign game and when my mechanized infantry unit have lost all APC and move only on foot. In reality in war they would seize civilian bus, truck, cars and maybe even some farmer’s tractors as improvised way of transport if all apc's and military trucks are lost.

Ok I admit this is not game breaking thing but it just bit break immersion for ex-military man like me seeing mechanized troops walking long distances in country full of towns and villages full of civilian cars. If you ever make new version of this game I would really hope that infantry units would have ability to get improved transport vehicles from civilian cars. Most of the countries armies have plans of seizing civilian cars and equipment in case of full scale war.

Welcome to Red Storm! A cool idea. Civilians and their transports is something we plan to look at more after Southern Storm is out. Dealing with refugee traffic, casualties, etc., opens up a whole other angle in the game.

This game series is one of my favorite. No other wargame captures chaos of war so well and gives feeling that you still do decisions that matter but you don’t have too much control over your units. Many wargames where player is supposed to take role of some high level commander give player too much control over the units ignoring command and control and chain of command.

I have already played this game more than 100+ hours if I would not enjoy it I would have stopped playing it long time ago.

We are glad you like it. We are working on many improvements for the next iteration of the game engine and hope to continue to deliver that same high level experience.
