Constantly Crashing at New Game Set-Up

I wanted to play the game, DW:Universe, again after taking a break for several months, but now it keep crashing whenever I attempt to create a new game. This was not happening four months ago. I do not know if it has something to do with the latest patch or a Windows update that has been applied since the game last worked. I have run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7. I have reinstalled the game, I have even tried running the game without mods, the crashing seems to happen randomly as I have been able to get a game set-up and running at least a couple of times. My video card drivers updated to the latest.

The only thing I can think of at this point it rolling the patch back to the previous patch, is it possible to do this without reinstalling the entire game again? Does anyone else have any other ideas to resolve this issue, as I am out of ideas.

UPDATE: I figured out what the issue is, the game overlay from the Raptr program must have been updated and it causing the crash problems.

I had to look it up - Raptr is an app that tracks gaming stats (for the others who might not know, like me!).

I like your computer name :-) .
