Hi all,

While playing Northern Fury Changing of the Guard using Build 735, I noticed that NATO aircraft will not refuel while the Side Doctrine is set to 'Never' Refuel/UNREP even though the group and/or mission doctrine is set to 'Always' and the individual unit doctrines are set to Inherited or Always. When I changed the Side Doctrine to allow refueling only then did aircraft attempt to refuel. In summary, it appears that the Side Doctrine will overrule Mission or Group exceptions to the Side Doctrine.

Perhaps this issue is unique to the scenario or perhaps not.

For testing please note the individual unit Refuel doctrine settings and then attempt to direct any USN FW aircraft to refuel while Side Doctrine is set to 'Always' and then 'Never'.

Both the fighters AND tankers must have refuelling set to yes :)

Did that change recently?

I always used to think that was the case but then I changed my mind and thought it wasnt until reading this haha

Thanks for taking a look. In the past I had usually set the tanker mission to 'Never' to ensure the tankers did not attempt to refuel from each other which did occur from time to time.
