The combat units at Victoria Point are at once heading for Chumphon. That move will cut off retreat for enemy units to the north, so upon their arrival our units to the north will resume attacking. FOW failed the Empire and they attacked at Vinh today when the timely arrival of two Allied Bde stopped them cold. The retreating units south of Luangprabang were destroyed. quote:

Our forces present will attack and more armor is on the way. Meanwhile our units at Vinh are at 13-13-10% disruption while I presume that the enemy which just attacked is a good deal higher. I believe we have a chance to dig in. The two divisions moving cross country NW of Vinh are now at 25 and 28 miles in very tough terrain (JR to JR). Their objective is to arrive and start attacking before an evacuation of Vinh starts. The attack at Dili went poorly from a casualty and odds perspective but well from a casualty-odds ratio standpoint. Still stubborn! quote:

Supply reduction continues at Ternate. The garrison at Peleliu might have been wiped out today, but our commandos are loading anyway. The garrison at Ulithi looks to be less than half of what it was and will surely be a much softer target when our next invasion forces arrives there. Kuching invasion convoy commences loading now at Tarakan. Indochina, et al.
