Thanks man, I am playing a tank platoon that is only shown as pure tank units - but it seems like all the other units from the first battle are also taken to the next scenario? I lost like two battalion HQs, one ANTI-Tank and one 280 rocket - but did get outstanding as feeback - so I am confused - how can I see what core units are and do I need to take care of every single unit now?

A German tank battalion EF DCG - I wonder if only the tanks shown in the commans structure are my core - just bought the game and really love it - great job!

Wow I just killed Russians fo 1100point+ but alos lost 8 tanks due to unbelievable dice rolls - one was even killed by a Brigade HQ - I needed an averagew of 8 shots to disrupt a Russian tank platoon with Panzer IIIs and they needed one shot ti kill one of my tnaks plus one tank and brigae HQ was killed by random artillery atacks...how do they even spot my units?
Is random dice roll always so terrible for the human player?

Still wondering what my core force is - are the other units support units given me randomly?

What does XP exactly do?

Why should I take the promotion - except I want to play with more units? Do units get a different scale after a promotion or do I really have more than 3x more units?

If you are playing with the optional rule of indirect fire by the map, HAL will randomly send artillery strikes beyound LOS.

I do the same thing when playing against humans.

The random die rolls are random. Sometimes they are great, sometimes - not so much.

You should be to see what your core force is at the Command screen.

After you gain a certain amount of XP, your morale will improve, which has a direct affect on combat.

That's the only reason you want a promotion, is that you can command a larger formation.

Units don't fight better (their weapon stats don't change), but they will be more resilient on the battlefield since certain combat results (assaulting, defending against assaults, etc) are influenced by morale.

I'd have to dig it out, but it's quite some time before your morale increases. Maybe 1000 XP for the first level? I will have to confirm.

That is what experience does for you - the morale improvements as described above.

Then I have a wish - I am very much into RPG elements - would be great if additionally to the morale the chance to hit somtehing will be increased and the chance to be hit lowered. Would be cool to have for EF and WF also Poland first in a dynamic campaign - the EF could then also include the baltic wars up to Greece ;-D

Do units get less disrupted with a higher morale?
