I was just sitting here thinking about wargames I used to play and it crossed my mind that I really missed playing EiA when I was back in college (in the 80's).

So, I jumped on Google with the thought of "Hey, I wonder if anyone ever turned that into a computer game?". Lo and behold, my heroes at MatrixGames are doing it!!! I can't tell you how much I miss the long nights, the beer and pretzels, the fun of EiA that I had in the past. As we get older (I'm only 37), it's harder and harder to get together with groups and play such long games. That's why computer versions are so important. Now, I find that my favorite board-game of all time is going electric and I'm ecstatic.

I can't wait to jump in as the Austrians and foil French plans for the invasion of Prussia, one of my favorite moments in the game.

Did I say thank you? I promise to buy 2 copies.

And who said that magic doesn't happen. Welcome Troutworld.

Please browse about the place. I won't spoil the joy of the hunt. (Hint) There are even links to screenshots for your viewing pleasure.

I agree Troutworld. I have thought EiA would make a great computer game since '92. It was my favorite board game during High School in the 80s. I can't wait to play it on the computer now!
