Hello guys,

i'm struggling with using the Escort option in the Mission Editor.
Specifically, I was attempting the "Khark Island Raid" scenario, and, wanting to improve my use of missions, I set up a Strike mission for my FAB-armed Su-22s, and assigned the SEAD aircraft and Mig-23 fighters as escorts.
However, upon activating the mission, the bombers were in the lead, with fighters and SEAD behind, which allowed the Iranian F-5s from Omidiyeh to get behind my bombers and shoot them. Hardly ideal.
So, what's the correct way to set these things up?

Hi,

I'm fairly certain we have special air ops code for making sure the escorts take off first. Can you please submit a save just after you have created the strike mission but before the aircraft start taxiing for takeoff?

On trying the whole thing again.. I am an idiot!
The target is actually out of the range of the Floggers, hence why they weren't launching. There was even a nice warning about that.

Sending all my planes to a "Formup" mission first, they launched in the order of Bomber-Fighter-Fighter-Fighter-Bomber-SEAD-SEAD, which isn't so bad.
