Overall, I really enjoyed this game. I completed the Pacific Campaign playing both sides at "Sargent" level (Don't laugh, I'm old and it was a challenge for me). However in the late stages of the campaign (or after the 1.9.4 update), I encountered the following problems, several of which were extremely frustrating. Two game related questions: 1. "Phantom" units - On several occasions I triggered an "ambush" by blundering into a concealed unit. EXCEPT, THERE WAS NO UNIT, EVEN THOUGH ONE WAS DISPLAYED IN THE HEX. I was able to move another of my units through the hex on the same turn. So, even though an enemy unit was displayed there really wasn't one there. 2. "No Combat" - This one was reported before: After moving an American tank unit adjacent to a Japanese infantry unit (The one where the graphic depicts soldiers holding long, lance-like objects), no combat occurred, and the turn ended for my tank unit. I was able to attack the Japanese unit with one of my infantry units on the same turn. System issues (these are the frustrating ones): 1. Black screen - Screen would go black, even though I previously deleted the settings folder. Had to power off / power on computer.I reported this in an earlier post. 2. Game crashed - "Heap stack overflow error". 3. Game got hung-up while "Thinking" during the AI's turn. Flag was spinning, red status bar was completely filled in. but turn would not end. Had to Crtl-Alt-Del, and re-start game. Taking a breather before attempting Battle of Britain:)
