Do most of the things in WiTW manual apply to WiTE?

I bought that cool physical version and it is my only physical manual. I was wondering that in terms of what goes on in the screen (the land battles for the most part) Are most things found in the WiTW manual applicable to WiTE? I am still learning the game and I only have the WITW physical manual and I prefer reading that over a pdf of the WITE manual

There are a lot of differences, particularly in the air warfare and logistics systems. Some overlap, to be sure, but you're much better off reading the WitE PDF manual and a freely available condensed rules for version 1.08.03 by @rainman2015 here.

The latest patch always comes with an updates log as well.

Should that condensed rule be used as a replacement or just supplementary reading with the manual?

Supplementary, I suppose. A lot of the manual is obsolete, unfortunately. Those documents and the WitE forum are your best bets for info. Look for patch notes and go through the various AARs as well.
