The campaign starts with no units equipped with the 107 mm mortar and 40 in the pool. By turn 4 there is one unit equipped with 12 (100% TOE) and 130 in the pool.

Why does the system/AI build these when there is no demand for them. Is it historical? (like the Axis printing maps of Stalingrad in 1945)

I think this mortar is desired by the mountain division TOE and the game builds some for those units. However I was discovered that the game builds some elements too eagerly and that will be toned down in next patch.

you can raise mountain mortar regiments in nov 42 but ...

historical production stoped in 1941 .

OK, ends 12/41 now; units should swap to available 120mm Mortar afterwards if they require replacements.

I liked the piece , because it used 1 ton of ammo per tube as oposed to 1,75tons for 120 mm .

with this swap it is basicly the same as [439] 42c Mortar Regiment.
