Status: offline 		How long did it take for them to ship your physical copy? I want that manual in my hands before I dive in.

Status: offline 		Depends where you live I'd think. I ordered it on the 26th Nov, it shipped on 2nd Dec and apparently will take 15 days to reach the UK ...

Notification: Dec 1st
Arrived: Dec 18th
Package contains USPS labels, as well as Swiss Post (?) markings.

Dispatched Dec 1st, still somewhere (I suppose, but not 100% sure) on Planet earth...

As weekend is coming, IF it arrives it will be no sooner than Dec 21st, meaning 20 days in transit...not normal at all...

(there should be a way to track the shipment, BTW)

Status: offline 		Bought on the day of release 24th November, shipped on 2 December, will arrive "before 26th December". It will have taken just about a month to show up...

I'm a bit annoyed to be honest, especially when I read that others in the UK have already received theirs.

Status: offline 		I saw a few games I was looking for on Amazon, including this one. I assume the Amazon sales are physical copies. So for this game it would be the (Fabulous) book with CD/DVD inside and for others it would be the same as the physical shipment from Matrix/Plimus? Can anyone confirm? There is no mention of digital download and with no reviews, just want to confirm physical shipments. Frankly, I was surprised to find Matrix games sold on Amazon. But it appears EVERYTHING anyone would ever need is available through Amazon.

Maybe.

Likely only if delivered by flying pigs. Australia Post regularly lies about its delivery capabilities in the run up to Christmas and if they achieve them, it seems to be more by accident than design.

It is more likely that it won't arrive till early January ...

Of course, that said, most local couriers outsource to temps during late November and December ... people they simply would not use any other time of year as they are so unreliable or incompetent ...

<sigh>

Maybe I will see a flying pig today or tomorrow.

Or, indeed, today ... way after normal delivery time. By a courier, not the usual AusPost ring in for Xmas either. Then I noticed the box was sent through the Swiss Post Office ... who generally don't seem to use Aussie Post in such circumstances (probably why the Vatican uses them rather than Italian Post Office, too, I guess ... )

Status: offline 		It's Christmas Eve and still no delivery. Ordered on 24th November, Dispatched 2nd December, email said it would be delivered "before 26th December".

If it doesn't show up in the next few hours then it won't be here until Monday at the earliest. The 26th is Boxing Day here in the UK which is a bank holiday, Monday seems doubtful so realistically the earliest it could arrive is the 29th, three days after the promised delivery.

I'm really not very happy about it. A calendar month has elapsed since ordering the game. I don't live in the depths of the bloody Amazon jungle.
