The message that pops up in red tells me I can promote a general.

I click on the message, and it goes to a screen that shows all the generals I can promote.

However, when I click on the name of a general, it always takes me to the place on the map occupied by the first general on the list. If you need to find one of the other generals, you don't have any clue where he is.

Also, it would be very good if you could figure out how many VP points you will lose when promoting the general from this screen, rather than having to go to the general in question on the map.
