Status: offline 		When moving supplies and fuel to Perth(from Capetown) how much will resupply the rest of Australia? Will I have to move the majority by sea Sydney ect..

Status: offline 		Yes, stuff will flow nicely via railroad. You will still need fuel shipments from US though, and additional supplies when activity picks up

Status: offline 		I agree with previous comments, Australia's rail system will distribute supply/fuel/oil from Perth.
However, I find that you have far more sea-lift capacity to pull from Cape Town than you need. If you set too many CS Supply convoys out of Cape Town at the beginning of the war, you will find them stacked up waiting for the next supply drop.
I end up shifting a large number of Commonwealth AK's (especially the long endurance ones) to Los Angeles (via Balboa, Panama), and running most of supplies to Australia out of US West Coast ports.

Or setup a supply line from East Coast/UK to Capetown and then on to Perth.

Actually I've never clicked that UK base to see it's supply/fuel levels.

Personally, I would think that option a bit 'gamey'. 1942 was a terrible year for the German U-boat threat in the Atlantic. This game would allow those convoys to get through Atlantic with no loss.

But a very interesting option., Thanks

In 1942 U-boat activity in the Caribbean including the Panama Canal area was quite significant, although there probably wasn't much of a threat there in December of 1941.

Status: offline 		If you have a small force in Perth, the tendency is for most supply and fuel to flow out towards Sidney. This could hamper later operations if you plan of using the base to support your fleet. But remember you can let some of the supply and fuel flow out of Perth and then click "stockpile" to retain some of it in Perth.

Pretty much a 'one shot' deal. Once King got his act together and set up proper convoys and ASW it was over. Also the turn around time for the Germans sending their boats that far outstripped the gains once the previous shortcomings were addressed.
