Here there comes my first one public scenario. Hope, you'll try it & enjoy. Because I've enjoyed much making an incident investigation.

Here's it's description

Georgia vs. Russia

Date: 9th August, 2008

Location: Coast of Abkhazia (Georgia), Black Sea

Playable Sides: Georgia

Introduction

The scenario recreates a skirmish, that occurred between Russian Black Sea Fleet and Georgian patrol boats during the Russo-Georgian War.

Two Russian large landing ships Caesar Kunikov and Saratov, escorted by a small missile ship Mirazh and small anti-submarine ship Suzdalets were proceeding along Abkhazian coast, in Georgian territorial waters, to disembark troops near Sukhumi.

At about 18:30 they were engaged by group of five Georgian fast attack crafts: small missile ships Dioskuria & Tbilisi, and three patrol boats of different classes.

Historical Outcome

Instead firing anti-ship missiles, Georgian fast attack crafts made an attempt of closing at maximum speed. After hailing the intruding units, Russian forces opened fire and sank one patrol boats (armed survey vessel Gantiadi) and damaged another one. Remaining Georgian forces withdrew to port Poti. Russian troops were succesfully disembarked on the night of 9 and 10 August. Small missile ships Dioskuria & Tbilisi and patrol boat P-203 were destroyed by Russians in port Poti 13-14th August, 2008, patrol boats Tbilisi & P-204 sortied from Poti to Batumi prior to arrival of Russian forces.

Important Notes

Despite of a bunch of facts available, there's contradictory information about number of attacking crafts (four or five), their titles and casualties, weapons, that were actually applied (anti-ship missiles, anti-air missiles, rocket artillery). Please, do not insist on "historical authenticity". The outcome of scenario depends on you.
Georgian naval forces seemed to use armed & modified survey vessel Gantiadi and auxiliary ship Yaroslavets in that raid. In the current scenario they were replaced with Kutaisi & P-203 patrol boats.

Noooooooooooohohohohohoo... I wrote a scenario about the exact same event which was not far away from release (Hell, you even used the same font in the briefieng as I did?!). Well, first come first served I guess. Ok, let's try this one.

Actually, I don't think there's anything awkward in publishing a couple scenarios based on the same event. Except they have the same title There's a long-long list of them, I have never managed to read it all. I usually chose the one to play after viewing 2-5 titles only. So, feel free to publish your own. I guess, it would be a good idea not to limit scenario base just by one per incident. (Just look on the number of Falkland or Cold war missions) The font and overall description style I took from the original CMANO scenarios, so it's expected. that lots of people will take it too
So I'm waiting for yours version

Well I won. Not really good, Minor Victory or something, can't recall the score, but on the second try I sank them all and two of my ships were still afloat and not in a risk of sinking/burning.

That's what needs to be considered: should I make AI a bit more aggressive, changing rules of engagement for Russian ships so they will fire any contact immediately instead recognizing them first. Because in recurrent executions you definitely know the danger and are able to fire straight away, not loosing time for recognition.
Adding civilian wouldn't have any result: an experienced player will easily notice the difference.

I don't think so - it is bad enough as it is.

Sorry, what exactly do you mean? The idea to make opponent more aggressive? Or the scenario itself?
What would you recommend to change?
Should I add Russia as a playable side? From the start I thought it would be too easy to play as RF
Or decrease the quantity of Georgian operable missiles? I think, that historically they hadn't even one
Add civilians or aircraft?
Or there're some features you dislike?

Feel free to detail your opinion, because it's important

The enemy is aggressive (bad#ss) enough as it is, I mean. There is no need to make Russian side more capable or aggressive, I can barely "win" as it is now.

I don't think any change is needed as far as opposing sides go. Adding civilian shipping might be a good idea, to require classifying targets before shooting.

If there were zero missiles, Georgian side, I don't think I stand a chance without missiles.

Hopefully that clarifies.
