Cross post from the tournament thread.

ultradave and I have noticed something peculiar in a tournament practice game. Early on I saw that none of my air directives were executed (0 sorties). I'm a noob, so I put it off to me not understanding the air war. Last turn ultradave noted too (no air losses). I then looked into it: Seems the Luftwaffe has forgotten to issue me any planes...

Seems I never had any, or maybe 4 at one time (but 0 losses and 0 planes - did they just go home)?`

it could be due to the missing air HQ, ex. if some was disbanded

I'm sure I didn't disband a unit, but that could be it. But the highest HQ (OKL) is still there.

This is driving me mad, check out the differences (OOB, CR):

I was the Allied player and while he was reporting to me that he had no planes, my recon showed the following:

Udref - Ftr 19, Bmr 21
Sfax - Ftr 24
El Djem - Bmr 28, Aux 5
The small airfield one hex NW of El Djem Ftr 23

I didn't see any other aircraft but that could have just been due to my recon or lack of in the northern part of the map.

Did you use Ai to reallocate air groups? I found some located on the off map air bases.

I think I'm able to replicate it - Ai move/manage functions can move air groups off map. You should avoid using it for the small map scenarios till it is fixed.

You got it, that's what I did. Kinda weird that the AI wants to move them so far away, though!
