What I mean is you do not have to pay to unlock features in SP:WaW. With Shrapnel's WinSPWW2 you have to pay to get the fully functional version. SP:WaW comes fully functional for free. WinSPWW2 is not the same game as SP:WaW even though many people seem to lump them together as different versions of the same game, they are not that at all. They are similar games but are built on completely different engines. The features you mention like opfire filtering are nice, but the engine of WinSPWW2 itself does not appeal to me enough to make it better than SP:WaW. That's too bad because it would be really neat if it did due to the upgrading they do with it.
