Hi,
According to Manual the Russians have 1 Turn to Retake a fortress.

In Attached Save (renamed to .txt) the hex south of Vitesbk has been taken, but when retaken the Fort disappears

Hi Falke,

The forts will disappear, prior to the one turn delay, if they have been sufficiently beat up to be destroyed.

The green structural points health bar (top centre in the terrain window) gives you a good indication of their condition.

Once they are reduced to zero structural points they are considered destroyed.

Hi Cameron,

I checked the save. Prior to me attacking the the Terrain info is showing 0 of 2000. Per your Explanation they should therefore already
have been removed and the German Defenders should not be benefiting from it, but they are.

I have also reviewed the combat History. The Hex was taken in a single attack (Step 312) , it was reported "Dam done to Loc 82,Loc down to 1918 pts."

So there is definatly a bug or error the Manual. Possibly the Routine to remove Forts that have not been recaptured is running immediatly rather than after the Russian turn

EDIT : Ran my attack - In the Detail Loc has 0 pts Dam..........

So Bug is that the Fort is being set to 0 when it should have 1918
