Okay gentlemen, I have a minor problem. As you probably know I am a huge fan of the Munda mini-Campaign. Unfortunately, last night I was unable to find it on your site. Has it been phased out? Or am I just missing it?

If it's not available for download, would it be allright if I hosted it myself--while fully crediting Wild Bill (and the Raiders for hosting it) of course?

Thanks Bill and Co.

O.K. I took your recomendation and got the tanks at Munda Mini-campaign. Man! How come my snipers don't kill tanks?! I'ts a good sized quickie, and a good teaching tool. I think I'm starting to get it..you just have to go back and do it again and again until you get it right..
Any tips on this one? I'm still trying to do better than a draw, I figure I should mount those "tank spotter' 6 man squads on my stuarts I kept racing the tanks ahead and getting wiped by snipers, molotovs etc.
What about forming 2 groups and pushing along the top & bottom trying to meet @ the objectives. I had some good luck with my northern squads comming down after the northern log rifle bunker was finally taken out. (note to self..don't take bunkers on head on no matter how much smoke there is)

First, THANKS!! :D :D :D Always happy to see someone's taken my advice. :)

The pincer attack you mentioned is a good idea. Your implementation is... well, I won't say "wrong," as there are times when it's a good idea. But your implementation (mounting those 6-man teams on your tanks and racing ahead) is a bit scary to me. You have plenty of turns to advance with your troops first, not your tanks. Keep your tanks 1-2 hexes behind your troops at all times. Remember, just because you can do something (eg, use all 44 of your movement points) doesn't mean you should. (Though if there are a bunch of ATG's around, you might consider riding around in a circle outside of their LOS first to gain speed. ;P )

Once the enemy starts crumbling, then you can get a bit daring with your tanks.

Very good advice, Irinami! You will pay a price for a rapid advance with your Stuarts. Lessons learned well at Munda.

Remember, these were the formative days when infantry and tanks were learning how to work together in the Pacific. They got much better at it, but lamentably so did the Japanese at countering their efforts.

Old friend, I appreciate your support. Look for an upcoming article on the Wargamer from me that will offer these as an incentive to practice combined arms attacks.

It will be called, "I Love Tanks."
