I downloaded and tried to install Update Pack 775.10 (version 1.10 of CMANO), but didn't succeed in spite of repeated attempts. Version 109.2 was previously properly downloaded and installed and runs OK.
What happens is this. After the download I extract 775.10 to the CMANO folder. No message asking permission to overwrite certain files appears. What comes out is a subfolder called Update Pack 775.10. Inside this subfolder is a Command.exe icon (File version 1.0.0.0). When I click on it I get the following three error messages:

I. Error Signature.
Event type: clr 20r3; P1: command.exe; P2. 1.0.0.0; P3. 56a1f66e; P4. command; P5. 1.0.0.0: P6. 56a1f66e; P7. 4b3d; P8. system typeinitialization.

II. Exception Information.
Code: 0xe0434352; Flags: 0x00000001; Record: 0x0000000000000000; Address: 0x000000007c812fd3; System Information: Windows NT5.1, Build 2600, CPU Vendor Code 756E6547-49656E69-6C65746E, CPU version 00010677, CPU feature code BFEBFBFF.

III. Error Signature.
AppName: command.exe;
ApopVer: 1.0.0.0;
AppStamp: 56a1f66e;
ModName: kernel32.dll;
ModVer: 5.1.2600.6532;
ModStamp: 53203692;
Debug0;
Offset: 00012fd3

I tried the debug button, to no avail.

In all three error reports, after the items I copied above, there are pages and pages of strange alphanumeric things which I would have sent you, but don't know how to copy.

This problem occurs in both my Windows XP and Windows 10 machine, but only in the XP PC do I get the error message. In the Windows 10 computer, when I click on the game version 1.10 command.exe button, i get a message saying that Windows has encountered a problem which it will try to resolve. ASfter a while it just gives up.

What to do?

The files you need to overwrite the installation are inside the sub-folder labeled "Update Pack 775.10."

They must be moved from that folder into the original installation location.

Note tat you also have to first update to 1.09.2 latest version, since 1.10 is incremental and not comprehensive patch.

Done. It works on both the Windows XP and Windows 10 machine. Great. Thanks.
