I've already purchased WitE on Steam and would like to do the same with WitW, but it doesn't seem to be available there. Any chance of that happening in the near future?

Not in the near future. Eventually it will probably make it's way to Steam (at which point any prior owner would get a Steam key), but there's no imminent plan to put it on Steam.
