I've finished one covering submarine action-- Prelude to a Come-Uppance; it's probably not everyone's cup of tea but I wanted to do something simple for my first published scen It's a quick submarine recon scenario that you could probably knock over in 2 or so hours of real time. I'm working on and beta-testing another, Good Morning Malvinas more ambitious scenario covering the first day of action on 1 May. Only the British side is playable, but the scenario covers: --Insertion of special forces (both by helo landing, and helo drops of RHIBs at sea), --Fleet protection and CAP AAW action as historically accurate as possible (down to flight names and loadouts for the Argentine aircraft) plus a few extras thrown in to keep the pace going, --Special actions that involve other countries or authorise the (AI) RN subs to attack--each with a trade-off --Accurate depiction of forces involved. i.e. the Argentine CVBG is present with its air wing, and so are the Belgrano and Drummond SAGs. The player can go after them and may score well, but that's not the actual mission. --Weather matched to the historical conditions; changing throughout the day --ASW prosecution as historically occurred (Yarmouth and Broadsword looking for the San Luis just north of the islands) --Naval gunfire support on Stanley, and the ensuing air attack that put an end to daylight NGS for the rest of the conflict --And more... So I'd vote for my own scenario Good Morning Malvinas having most of what you're after. There are two other scens in the community pack. The first, Falkland War by an unknown author is more of a sandbox, and you have lots and lots of units. The second, Malvinas - The Pincer again by an unknown author is playable by both sides and quite detailed. Both are set up to have attrition as the main gameplay factor, as win/loss is calculated essentially by who kills more enemies. Both are also quite old DB builds, and obviously due to their age don't take advantage of lua for things like changing weather, randomly generating biologicals, etc As I'm focusing on the Falklands conflict for the next little while (next scen will be based on the re-taking of South Georgia, and maybe a larger more complex one after that) I'd really like to hear suggestions or requests for features, plotlines or anything else you'd like to see in a Falklands scenario.
