Status: offline 		This is a load of bollocks. I'm trying to fix a problem for my copy of Distant Worlds (Steam version works but the Matrix doesn't ) and I get turned back every time. It's incredibly frustrating to purchase a game and then have an issue and wait for this stupid thing to end. And if it's in place because of ONE person some time ago, it's pretty ridiculous. This policy really needs to be dropped.

No the policy needs to stay. Too many spambots ruin a site. And that is what was happening here.

I think I also have to wait 7 days once i've made my 10 bs posts before I can make a legitimate post????

That pisses me off. I would like to enjoy the game i purchased from you, but now I need to wait 7 days to get my questions answered.

Great customer service there....

Some forums are private for development or betas but public forums all work the same way. If you are able to post your text here then it will work anywhere. If not then let us know the exact text you are trying to post by posting it here and the name of the forum/sun forum you were unable to post to.

Agreed. Especially as most game manuals direct the PAYING CUSTOMER to seek game support on these forums. And now you encourage them to make spam replies to get up to the post count?

Why not just have <10 post users do a captcha before each post? I've never experienced such an absurd policy as this on any other game support forum. Shamefully inept.
