Rhonda, I am very sorry to learn of your diagnosis. For the last thirty years, I worked in all the major banks in the Midwest, had built a great customer base and I loved them as they loved me. Contact with my customers was 95% by phone, so when I developed "laryngitis", they suggested I see my Doctor. I did, and after a week of anti-biotics, there was no change, so, he sent me to several specialists and I was diagnosed with stage 3b Neuroindecrine carcinoma. It was in both lungs, my throat and "30 to 40" lymph nodes. It was inoperable. In working to maintain a quality of life, (as you say), I was taking radiation on a daily basis for months. Miracles DO happen and God was just not ready for me yet. My purpose on earth has not been fulfilled yet and I have been allowed to live. The damage done to my throat makes it difficult to eat without choking so I take my time. I have a chronic cough, not contagious, but it is permanent. I lost 65% of my lungs, and of course am now living a more restrictive lifestyle, but nothing is wrong with my mind, and maybe my purpose in life is to testify that cancer CAN be beaten, even advanced stages. I pray for you Rhonda, and ask you believe in your own ability to heal....Bob
