I love the game, it is fairly easy to play, but hard to master.
A few points (some have probably been mentioned by other players).

Graphics:
Love the old style, but there is way too much orange for my taste.
Make the oceans a light blue and the neutral regions grey or sepia-coloured. That should still keep the old map-style.
I think there is a bit too liberal use of wood panels, it is behind both the individual counters and in the unit list background. This makes the screen too busy/cluttered.

Unit movement:
Units without generals should be able to move 1 region. They did have commanders...
It is an administrative chore to split up armies, move the lone general to a single unit just to relocate it.
Movement cards could be restricted to units with generals.

Leaders:
Please add tool-tips to allow you to see the name of the general with his statistics.
The general's icon should be different than the generic unit icon on the map, maybe a guy on a horse.

Naval battles:
These are too simplistic currently. Maybe you could have two sections similar to land battles. One section would hold ships that can only fire. The closer section would hold ships that of course fire (with better effect), but you can only capture D-ships in this section.
Add admirals which would add their bonus to one ship attack during each turn.
Add naval cards that would increase training for one/two selected ships moving them from 2 -> 3 or 3 -> 4.

Animations:
There are several animations during battles that is ok to watch once or twice. Later they are just disrupting the flow of the game IMO.
Examples:
All units clearing their disruptions can do that in one take.
Remove the wipes for pursue and when the battle is finished. They look like old TV wipes and looks odd compared to the old-style map.
For naval battles it would be better if all your ships were already lined up for battle. It is tedious to select each one and move it to the line-up. Let the game put the best ships in the line if you have a mix of 2s and 3s.

Thanks for listening

Currently all(?) major nations can field a 20-unit army using just one general of any(?) ability.
What if you link the number of units in the army to the level of the general(s).
So Napoleon could manage 12 units by himself and would need a couple of additional generals to reach 20 units.
That would give the other generals a more important role and the players more options dependent on what the overall strategy is.

I agree 100% with this. The stacks with leaders need to be easily distinguishable on the map, without having to click into each stack to find them.
This is sorely needed, please!

i didn't know it and i was on the beta, but the game is from a board game so colours are from that,

Napoleon and one other can have larger stacks later on,

Naval is, as developer has already mentioned, for later on,

but i'm sure he will answer them selves with better longer replies than mine

Thanks for the detailed feedback. Some of this is already in the plan for updates and the DLC.
We will continue to upgrade the game and the engine.

I think this is a great idea. It's really common in board war games that commanders will have separate values for "tactical" (bonus in battle) and "operational" (how many units they can manage).

General's levels could be taken further giving them ratings for infantry/artillery/cavalry bonuses.
Then allow a general to support one attack each combat round.
Keeping several generals together with Napoleon in his Grand Army could be a good option when you're spoiling for a fight.

An additional condition for this card to work is that the French must have troops in Berlin.
This info should be added to the card.

1) There's a card providing you with a new general.
Is the general picked at random from a pool?
Is it only one of these cards in the deck?
Any possibility of letting the player pick a general from the pool?

If the card is hard-coded to d'Avout I would have used this card at first opportunity.
He was the best of Napoleon's generals IMO. This info should also be added to the card.

2) BTW, I think the player should be able to pick his generals from a pool at the start of the campaign.
Maybe even be allowed to create a max number of armies and assigning units/generals with some limitations were to deploy them.

Got beat pretty bad in a battle by a Russian force consisting entirely of artillery and cavalry. Kinda ruins the immersion of the game when infantry is so weak. Otherwise enjoying the game.
