Hi

I understand that the aircraft can fly around for so many turns but what about
bombs/torpedoes do they run out and if so how do i know and i guess igbo back to the carrier
to bomb up or do u just attack until your fuel runs out ?

This is less of a tech support question and more a game question. To answer it, dive bombers can bomb each turn they are in the air. Torpedo planes fire off their fish and have to wait 3 turns or so before they can shoot again.

The number of turns in the air signifies their fuel. I would not keep attacking until their fuel runs out unless you have a good reason to sacrifice a squadron (last turn of the game and the only way to fulfill and objective or something of the sort). You can land the planes on a carrier or land based AF. This essentially refuels them and they are good to go for another full set of turns in the air.

You can also change the load out of certain planes while they are landed (torps swapped out for bombs and vice versa),
