A Seawolf on an ASuW Patrol detects a single freighter, closes in, shortly before it reaches weapons range it dives from 131ft to 1476ft, thus losing sonar contact, then fires two torps at the 7 minute old freighter contact and misses. It continues at this depth and later fires another two torps at the then one hour old contact.

Then I wanted to work around this by changing the attack depth setting in the mission editor, but it doesn't let me change any of the Sub depth or Attack distance settings, it always changes it back to Not Specified.
