Mmmm…French fries with mayonnaise, 1000 different types of beer and three official languages. What’s not to like about Belgium..?
Here is the Belgian army for FPRS.
One of the four NATO Corps of NORTHAG, the I Belgian Corps was the southernmost unit of that Army Group, responsible for the area roughly between Kassel and Paderborn. Stationed between BAOR to the North and German III Corps (CENTAG) to the south, it was viewed by many as the weakest NATO Corps in Germany. With only 2 brigades forward deployed, it was hoped that difficult terrain, including the Harz Mountains on the Eastern border and the Weser river winding through the area along with the lack of major East-West highways would make the Belgian zone one of the easier areas to defend.
The Belgian Army of the late 80’s was equipped with an interesting mix of American, British and German vehicles. Their APC was a M113 variant with a 25mm canon, called AIFV. Scouting units were equipped with the CVR(T) series of UK reconnaissance vehicles and the Leopard 1A3 was their main battle tank. Principal anti-tank missile was Milan and their small arms all came from the world renowned FN Herstal.
I’ve converted the scenario “WL_3rd Red Banner Slam.scn” which is based on the only map from the Belgian sector to NL_Belgium vs 3rd Red Banner Slam.scn. Enjoy. A. "zed" Baird

Just played this and it's pretty good.

I think rating Belgians as default of Veterans (8/10) is possibly too high a rating but they're infantry are well equipped.

I've tweeked their default rating to Regular (6/10) in the Users.xls.

I've also changed my background counter colour from bright orange to a very light grey, to fit in with the colour scheme from Central Front counters

Cheers for this, B

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback.
battlerbritain, I agree 8 is too high for the Belgian Training Value, but I think 6 is too low. Its true that a portion of the Belgian army were conscripts, but like the rest of the NATO forces based in cold war Germany, their troops were in an almost continual training cycle. Also, their armored units did consistently well in the Canadian Army Trophy competition through the eighties. I'd go with 7.
Other Nationalities:
American Unit Training Value = 7
British Unit Training Value = 8
German Unit Training Value = 7
Cheers!
