This Zip contains DB images for USN surface vessels from the Cape Class cutters through to the USS Long Beach (CGN-9) I've tried to keep the images of the ships accurate to the respective time periods of the individual entries. For example, CGN-38's late 1970s image shows the ship as it was at that time. The image for the 1989-90 entry is accurate too, as it shows the ABLs that had been placed on the cruiser's stern during its modernization in the 80s. I've tried to be as accurate as possible, however there have been some slip ups and some of the same images used in multiple entries of the same class. This occurred when I filled out the Ticonderoga class cruisers. I simply ran out of time to image hunt further.

I hope these images are useful for everyone and I'll start working on USN Surface Parts 3-4 after I wrap up my Convoy '88 scenario this weekend.

Not sure if you are aware-We have a team of people putting together images and database entries for all the ships/aircraft/weapons/facilities/submarines. You can download them here:

Right now we are somewhere around 3.22 GB worth of photos, and have 3,271 database entries done between the DB3000 and CWDB databases. We are trying to update them about every 90 days, and should have an update posted in about a week or so. If you would like to participate in this effort, let me know.

I didn't know you guys were working on an image database. I'd love to help out in any way.
