Hi, OK I started by playing Soviets. Now I am looking at Axis. In 2 turns I have inflicted 478946 casualties on Soviets and their army is larger then when I started.
Most house rules appear to be attempts to negate the monster that is the Red Army. Also they want to ignore the winter of 41/42 was one of the coldest, earliest, longest since... well 1812.
I still will play Axis, but I know going into it there is no "balance"
There was no balance. The Red Army was in turmoil over the purges but it was a more modern army.
If you play Axis win before winter.

Hi, There will be no winners or losers. I am using the public beta and that means I am testing. I redo each turn several times using different in puts. (hasty, deliberate, move in another unit, attack out of C2 move HQ to put attack into C2 blah blah blah)

Hi, I also never understand why Soviet players agree to give up their blizzard. Perhaps we can include an option "it's always summer"
