Status: offline 		I don't see that the public beta is available at either Matrix or Slitherine (Only on Steam where the Steam version of the game would have to be downloaded and used.) Is this correct? If this is so, I am disappointed.

Status: offline 		The public beta is for Steam only. Monday was a public holiday in England and the Slitherine people at least had a day off.

I understand that the public beta "is for Steam only." The question is: Why is the public beta for Steam only?

Nor do I understand what Monday being a holiday in England has to do with this.

Status: offline 		I only mentioned the holiday in England because you felt snubbed that no one had answered your original post. I simply meant to suggest that the lack of a response from the production team might be due to the holiday weekend.

Status: offline 		this still for me doesn't sound right either, no beta forum now it's been moved to hear so no option to post elsewhere either or i would have tbh, latest steam beta version, for me if it's a minor, then you lose a small %, if you get wiped out, it's a major defeat imo

Status: offline 		another strange one, i lost more but won, it seems the notes don't always match the outcome on auto battles now either, not saying it wrong, just some times as shown they don't sound right imo





but saying all this, it does seem to be playing better and imo is a large step forward and i do like the new extra bits i've seen so far

Status: offline 		this one always seem's a strange rule to me, not in this game test i'm on either, but one from yesterday, still think it's an odd one, as Paris would have no power to control a unit matching or anything else tbh, only reinforcements etc, so again just mentioned it

Status: offline 		Sorry we haven't been able to get a normal beta out - we just were short of time and it is quicker to get a Steam beta setup so we felt better to get it started than delay things waiting for an installer beta. We'll try and ensure future betas have installers.
