Hello guys,

I hope there is a solution for my trouble while playing the Steam version of this fine game.

My setup:
2 Nvidia Titan X graphic cards
3 Asus monitors (each 2560x1440) running in Nvidia Surround Mode(large display) with a resolution of 7680x1440

The game's start screen is not aligned correctly on the center screen (but I guess that's one of the problems I can live with). The screen where I choose scenarios/prefs/pbem/or start the game seems to be correct.

The main trouble starts after starting/loading a game. Althought he map (window) is displayed on the center screen (and the side screens still showing the rest of my Win 10 desktop) the map scrolls continously to the right until it reaches the eastern border. I can't use the mouse to move to the western part of the map. All I can do is zooming in or out with the mouse wheel. And I can press the left-key-button on my keyboard to move the map to the right. As soon as I release the key the map starts to move quickly to the right side again.

In this way the game is unplayable for multi monitor setups - unless you deactivate the setup and run 3 cloned screens. But this option wouldn't make sense, because the Nvidia surround setting can't be easily deactivated by a one-click setting. You have to exit a lot of essential background programs first... then start them again. Some of them are for my watercooled system, some of them are for audio and camera software, even some more for Adobe stuff.

Steam versions of Deceisive Campaigns: Case Blue & Blitzkrieg are both working well on my system (although strangely they won't play on my center monitor, but on the left side monitor - and there seems to be no way to change that !) ... along approx. 400 more titles.

I've never ecountered a problem like that. So right now I really think about to return this game to the Steam store and claim a refund... Maybe there would a way to edit some ini-files ? Help is really appreciated.

Kind regards,
Eckhard

Hi there,

Let me start with saying i'd like to help resolve the issue. But let me also say it is not exactly something close to a standard system you have here.

The game is tested up to 4K resolutions, but honestly I never tried a whopping 7680x1440.

What I would like to look into for the next patch is why DC1/DC2 do run well on your system and if I can send you a private fix.

Due to other obligations this would take a week or two for me to get started on. If your willing to hang on for some more time drop me a private email on vic@vrdesigns.net so I can contact you directly when I start working on this issue.

Best wishes,
Vic
