Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied #2. USN. South China Sea.

That's not the case in the South China Sea, however. The USN sends in an additional aircraft carrier to join the two already there. The USN is able to find, surprise and isolate the Japanese convoys.

Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Axis #3. Weather.

Stalin celebrates the change in the Weather. With the Western Allies it stays fine in the Med and in the North Temperate, which suits them too. Only the axis are disappointed in the weather change.

Where are the Chinese CAV divisions? These are very useful, cheap (1 BP) units. They should not go on the front line. Instead, they should go to out of the way sectors, where they threaten to run behind the Japanese and grab cities. This forces the Japanese to defend the cities. Japan only has so much production, and forcing them to garrison rear area cities is almost as good as bombing their production. Units they must spend to garrison are units that are not attacking the Chinese.

I've been trying to do that but I've also used the CAV division to soak up losses. Staring now they are immediately assigned to raiding duties!

Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Axis #3. IJN. China Sea. Round 2.

Round 2 sees the USA finding, surprising and isolating sea box 0, which contains a loaded transport. This is looking to be a total disaster for the Japanese. However, the Japanese fighter unit able to shoot down both USA bomber units before being shot down itself. This leaves no USA bombers in the area to attack the Japanese transport or convoys. A victory for the Japanese.

Both sides stay, with the Japanese hoping that the battle ends.
