Just a very quick question:

I started my first campaign (Hell on Wheels) and got a decent result on the first scenario. However, as a newbie, I decided that for the second scenario it could be a good idea to recover all the fallen out units, so I spent 66 hrs plus some victory points.

I finished the second scenario with again a decent result, but then the campaign finished with 2 out of 5 scenarios played. Is this because I used a total of 88 hrs between both scenarios plus the 66 hrs of recovering, against a total estimated of 90 hrs for the campaign?

I checked the manual and the forums and couldn't find an answer.

If I remember correctly, campaigns not really my area of expertise, you have it right. There is a limited amount of time in which to fight all the battles in order to achieve victory. Hopefully Steve (Mad Russian) can jump in later and confirm everything.

I wouldn't take more than 8 hours replentishing my forces before going to the next battle. As you have found out you can run out of time if you take a long time to refurbish your forces.
